The Amsterdam Wrist Rules is a clinical decision rule which aids to determine the need for a radiograph of the wrist in patients with a trauma of the wrist, based on physical examination, age and sex.
These variables could be entered in the app, afterwards the app gives a recommendation to make a radiograph of the wrist or not.
The app may be used by all physicians and nurses working at the emergency department or in general practice.
